Goodbye Mimi Mae

This is my grandma (Mae) with Georgia Mae last November.
They got along famously.
Both spunky and beautiful.

We had such a nice time together.
You know lots of girl talk and giggling.

We loved every minute of the visit.
We were going to relive it all over again in two weeks.

We didn't get to say goodbye,
but that's okay because goodbyes are really hard.

Instead we look forward to the next hell0.

We love you gram.

P.S. After hearing the news I hung up the phone and whispered goodbye.
Georgia went to the door and waved and blew a kiss.
What a great send-off.

Can you handle this?

Georgia loves life.
It is true - when I was pregnant I prayed and asked and begged for a lot of things.
A happy child is what I wanted and that is precisely what I got.
Georgia loves everything.
She comments daily  on the status of our "teeny - tiny daffydil"
asking "where is it muvver?".
And constantly asks about ALL of her family members.
And yes that means you because if you read this blog you are most likely family.

(If you are not bless you for being interested in the musings of an obsessed mother)

Many of Georgia's happy moments are a result of the family dogs.

Maddie (our dog)
Maggie and Shadow (Mimi and Boppa's)
Lola (uncle John and Auntie Linds)

and

JAKEY (who belongs to Uncle Tim)

This is a picture of Georgia giggling while she holds on to Jakey's "handle".

Doesn't that make you happy?

We are so excited

Spring is here.
And it actually feels like it.
We can hardly contain our excitement.

Apparently we will have to.
Another storm is coming.

Nothing is sadder than tulips in the snow. (for the third time)

P.S. Georgia told me SHE is excited for more "no"
the eternal optimist.
