Sibling Rivalry?

You could say that Max was my first baby.

He now lives with my parents.

Unfortunate CAT allergy that developed later in life.

He does not think that turning "1" warrants everyone's undivided attention.

Poor Kitty.

We still love you.

P.S. About 2 seconds later Georgia wiped her frosting hands all over Max.

We are still trying to de-stick his fur.

Cats don't like baths.

May 26, 2009 was a great day!

There was one sloppy birthday kiss

lots of birthday presents

one gorgeous  birthday cake

and finally (one hour past bedtime) cozy birthday pajamas.

There are not enough words to describe how lucky we

feel to have had this past year with Georgia Mae.

We met sweet Georgia Mae exactly one year ago today.

Easy pregnancy.

Easy Labor & Delivery.

One very full, fantastic, busy, and glorious year.

The simple things

Leave it to Georgia to put it all in perspective.

Planning her first b-day has been fun and busy,

Trying to finish up the school year - busy,

Get things in order before leaving for Vancouver - busy,

Keeping a clean house - busy,

Weeding our park of a yard - busy

Connecting with neglected friends - busy

General self maintenance (showering, hair cut) - busy,

Taking a moment to STOP and watch a baby play with bowls and recyclables -

refreshing, rejuvenating, and downright enjoyable.

I love all of the Mother's in my life.

And I love Georgia for giving me that most honorable title.

The need for speed

Look closely and you can see Georgia telling the

photographer (me) something very important.

I believe she is telling the photographer (me) that she

is ready to go for a real ride - no more of this

posing on the bike stuff.

I mean look at that face the girl is ready to catch bugs in her teeth

(difficult because she only has two).

Maybe next time posing for a picture is exhausting and besides

we need to find a cute pink helmet.
