ABOUT THAT RESOLUTION. . .

 New Year's is rapidly approaching, this means that

people everywhere will be thinking of things to give up.

I am going to add something instead.

My life is full of so many wonderful things I might as well ride the wave.

My resolution came in the form of a onesie.

Wisdom can be found in the darndest places.

Now that's a resolution I can really sink my teeth into!

Real Food Part Two

REAL FOOD PART TWO

This is real food.

My favorite doll Peppa is

green 

and

fuzzy

and 

soooooo

tasty.

Rice Cereal is

bland

and 

lumpy

and

smells funny.

Peppa smells like me.

And she doesn't fill me up.

That means I can still fill up on my favorite food.

Okay that was really weird and mushy.

Um.  I don't know if I want to do THAT again.

I know that I am six months old and the books say it is time to start the whole rice cereal thing.

Can't we just stick to our usual routine?

Creativity Lost

I had grandiose ideas for my Secret Santa this year.

I would be clever, crafty, and above all unique in my gift giving.

The mother/teacher that could pull together gorgeous handmade artistry

for not only my family (Babe needs a stocking) but for my work colleagues as well.

My poor Secret Santa has to this date received a lowly

package of hot chocolate.  What happened to the best laid plans?

New Tires

Baby with a rash

Last minute luncheon

Needy dog

Piles of laundry

Overdue thank-you notes

Bills

Grocery shopping (everyday?)

and

 a serious lack of sleep

Can anyone say balance?

Where has my creative side gone and will it ever return?

Sorry Secret Santa better luck next year.

Laundry 'oh laundry

No I didn't get to the laundry 

or the dusting

or the mopping

or the mail

or the closet organizing

or the vacuuming

or the refrigerator cleaning

or the oil change

But I did smile about 1000 times

(this was just one of 'em)
