Tomorrow is a big day.
It will be January 26th and Georgia will turn 20 months old.

Tuesday is a "mommy work" day so today we went out to celebrate.
Our celebration included one free balloon from the nice lady at the party shop
and
a car wash.
We had a perfectly lovely time.

"Georgia wuv gween buhyoon"

My thought (not resolution) for the new year was/is to enjoy all of the moments in between.  You know what I mean, like in between loads of laundry, in between important phone calls, and in between refrigerator disasters.
I believe that these are the moments that make up a life well lived.

I am so lucky that many of my moments are spent with Georgia, it has been such a joyful 20 months!

This one's for Mikey

It is cold here - again.
It is amazing how quickly you warm up when you're laughing.

Meet our (snow) angel.

ugghh!

I should be cleaning right now.

This is what our house should look like.

At the moment it looks like Christmas came and went
and threw up all over our house.

It also looks like a toddler (tornado) lives here.

I am paralyzed by the thought of digging in to this mess.

I might have to sit down and read a magazine instead.

Thirty minutes left of nap time isn't really enough time to get anything done anyway.
Right?

This morning Georgia and I were locked out.
Right after Dad left for the mountains (unreachable).
Georgia was dressed in her tutu (she chooses it constantly).
Our lovely neighbors took us in tutu and all.
Our neighbor has a nice white beard and drove us to Mimi and Boppa's House.
He drove us in a vintage red VW.
Georgia had the best morning ever.
She was wearing her beloved tutu and met Santa and rode in his sleigh.
I love Christmas!

family portrait

This is our "runner -up" Christmas Card photo.
Seemed like it needed some air time.
What kind of parents force their child to see them as vikings?
Hmmmmm.

Never fear a happier photo made the cut.

A beach is a beach

We kept telling Georgia that we were going to the Beach for Thanksgiving.

See, we didn't lie.

I think she was looking for the people in bathing suits.

Instead she got us.
Yes the big white dots are snowflakes.

It was a lovely Thanksgiving in Canada.
And yes it was very cold.

no-ing

No Day

Georgia wants to play Ow-side!

In the "NO".

Doesn't she look excited?

Her "no-suit" is a bit small.

I guess we will go shopping after we play.
