family portrait

This is our "runner -up" Christmas Card photo.
Seemed like it needed some air time.
What kind of parents force their child to see them as vikings?
Hmmmmm.

Never fear a happier photo made the cut.

A beach is a beach

We kept telling Georgia that we were going to the Beach for Thanksgiving.

See, we didn't lie.

I think she was looking for the people in bathing suits.

Instead she got us.
Yes the big white dots are snowflakes.

It was a lovely Thanksgiving in Canada.
And yes it was very cold.

no-ing

No Day

Georgia wants to play Ow-side!

In the "NO".

Doesn't she look excited?

Her "no-suit" is a bit small.

I guess we will go shopping after we play.

Her Mother's Daughter

"Sit dowwwn, weed Dee-Dee"

Our little miss is speaking in sentences.
Short and sweet.
She is also reading.
Upside down.
The word genius comes to mind.

AHHHHH.
Be still my teacher heart.

P.S. Halloween pictures will be posted soon - I promise!

PeterPeterPumpkineater

PUNK - IN.

BEE-BEE PUNK-IN.

Georgia carries, hugs, kisses,  swaddles, and sings to
her baby pumpkin.

She also inadvertently puts it in the dryer.

Poor baby.

P.S. " bee-bee punk-in" is mildly bruised and a little warmer than usual but a full recovery is expected.

Cider Days

Welcome to Cider Days a Woodward Family Tradition
(with one Dodunski thrown in the mix)

We arrive and immediately start admiring tractors.
Georgia just says "Noisy".

Dad and Tim "blah blah cool blah blah and what about that blah blah".

Georgia learning to admire a real thing of beauty
FUNNEL CAKE.

Yes, I let my child eat things like FUNNEL CAKE.
She doesn't eat things like this often (almost never).
But I will not have one of those weird children that never gets to have sugar.
Oh come on you know those children.

Yes I also let my child pet large fuzzy creatures.

Even if she is somewhat horrified at the thought.

A piece of feed corn in hand and sticky cider dribbled down her front.
The telltale signs of a successful Cider Day!

Oh yeah one more shot for the baby book.
Does this really seem like a good idea?

Sure.

Thanks to Uncle Tim and Boppa Dean for making the day so great.
